Pastor Fox follows the Biblical pattern of working a secular job and is employed at Fort Eustis as a “tent maker” to provide for his family and help establish the ministry here. He was born September 11, 1962 at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and was raised in the home of Christian parents who loved the Lord and honored Him. He was saved at 7 and was later baptized. He accepted God’s call on him to preach on February 18, 1982. By God’s grace, he has been preaching the Bible for almost 40 years. He has pastored and planted churches in North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
In May of 2007, while attending the viewing and funeral service of a U.S. Marine killed in Iraq by enemy fire, God brought to bear upon the heart of Pastor Fox all of those serving voluntarily in our military. Always an American Patriot, Pastor Fox has been a part of the military family all his life having been born at McDonald Army Hospital, Ft. Eustis. Having lived in a military home as a young boy here in Virginia and New Jersey, Pastor Fox understands the burdens, challenges, and needs of our military families.
God has burdened the heart of Pastor Fox, and other pastors in the area for the need of an independent Baptist church near Williamsburg, and Ft. Eustis, Virginia.
In 2015 Harbor Baptist Church of Hampton, VA became our sending church to oversee, encourage and assist this greatly needed ministry. In addition, several churches in the Tidewater area are supporting us in prayer and labor to reach this area for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through several events in the lives of the Fox family, there is no doubt that God has moved them here to the Williamsburg area to establish a church here for God’s glory!
