is stated simply . . . “To The Glory of God.”
God is clear in His Word that all things are made by Him and for His pleasure. Life is about the greatest thing in the universe – GOD! We believe that the focus of our lives, our service, and our ministry is God. Nothing compares to Him, and without Him we are nothing.
God’s Word makes clear that love is the great motivator for every thing any of us does in life. The Lord Jesus was asked what the first and greatest commandment is, He responded:
“The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31
Our loyalty, devotion, and first love is to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word . . . not to any man, group, or organization.
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11
“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24 & 25
We are debtors to God . . . God owns everything . . . “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Psalm 24:1 God the Father gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, and He died and paid the price for our sin. Twice, therefore in debt to God. However, God wants us to respond to His love shown to us through the gift of His Son, by repenting of our sin and accepting God’s gift of eternal life by faith in His Son and living for Him faithfully by His grace!
